Here at the Driscoll Institute of the Martial Arts, we are focused on learning and growth. We attend and host several seminars a year with various instructors as well as support various instructor\u2019s events around the country. The Maine Gathering was created as a venue for local martial artists from all disciplines to share their knowledge and experience. This is the 5th year of this event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sensei Driscoll will be teaching concepts and principles of Kosho Ryu Kempo and Eishin Ryu Iaijutsu for the weekend. Sensei will be covering the principles of escaping\/repositioning, joint locking (kansetsu waza), throwing (nagae waza), and striking (atemi waza) contained in the Kosho Ryu system. Sensei will also be covering various sets of Eishin Ryu Iaijutsu waza along with some of the philosophical principles of Japanese swordsmanship. This seminar is open to all styles and levels (beginner to advanced). Join us for a great weekend of martial study and camaraderie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
